Shipping policy
At Bow Toys we strive to ensure your orders are delivered promptly and securely. Below you will find details about our shipping methods, delivery times, and rates, based on the Dutch postal service, PostNL.
Shipping Methods and Delivery Times
- Within the Netherlands: Orders are shipped via PostNL and typically delivered within 1–2 business days after dispatch.
- International Shipping: Delivery times vary between 3–7 business days, depending on the destination.
Shipping Costs (PostNL Rates)
Domestic (Netherlands):
- Standard shipping (packages up to 10 kg): €7.10
- Small packages (via brievenbuspost): €4.15
- Free shipping for orders above €100.
International (EU Countries):
- Shipping rates are based on PostNL’s international parcel service:
- Up to 2 kg: Starting at €13.00
- 2–5 kg: Starting at €19.50
- 5–10 kg: Starting at €25.00
- Free shipping for orders above €100 within the EU.
Note: For international shipments, customs duties or additional fees may apply, which are the responsibility of the customer.
Order Processing
- Orders placed before 3:00 PM (CET) on business days are typically processed and shipped the same day.
- Orders placed after 3:00 PM or on weekends/holidays will be processed the next business day.
Track & Trace
- All packages include a PostNL Track & Trace code, which you will receive via email upon shipment.
- Smaller items shipped via brievenbuspost may not include tracking information.
Missed Delivery
- If you are not home during delivery, PostNL will leave a notification with further instructions. This may include a second delivery attempt or pick-up from a nearby service point.
Damaged or Lost Packages
- In the rare event that your package arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us immediately at info@bowtoys.nl with your order details and any relevant photos. We will work with PostNL to resolve the issue promptly.
